Mumbai: BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment and experiential division of BookMyShow, has announced a strategic investment in Stageco equipment to strengthen India’s production capabilities for large-scale international tours, festivals and live events.
The investment marks BookMyShow Live’s second major production infrastructure partnership, following its introduction of StarLive’s VerTech Stage in 2024, which was positioned as India’s first all-steel stage. Together, the investments form part of the company’s strategy to build owned production capabilities and strengthen the physical and operational infrastructure supporting India’s growing live entertainment ecosystem.
The investment comes as the Indian live entertainment market sees rising audience demand, increasing participation from global touring artists and more ambitious productions. BookMyShow Live said the industry’s continued growth will require stronger infrastructure, technical expertise and operational capabilities alongside audience development.
The Stageco configuration acquired by BookMyShow Live features the Classic 4 Tower Roof system incorporating elements of the Super Roof header, along with four field delay towers and four Front of House (FOH) systems. The steel pitch roof configuration is designed to offer higher load-bearing capacity, greater trim heights and increased flexibility for complex production requirements.
The system can support up to 28 tonnes of uniformly distributed load across its central grid and achieve trim heights of approximately 15 metres. This enables larger lighting rigs, flown LED installations, complex stage designs and fully flown audio systems. Its modular configuration can also be adapted for different concert and festival formats.
The infrastructure has already been deployed in India, including at Travis Scott’s CIRCUS MAXIMUS concert in Mumbai, where BookMyShow Live delivered what it described as one of the country’s largest flown LED backdrops rigged on a temporary structure.

Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer – Live Events, BookMyShow, said, “India’s live entertainment industry has reached an exciting inflection point. Audience demand has grown tremendously, global artists increasingly view India as an essential touring destination and productions continue to evolve in scale and ambition. For the industry to sustain this momentum, the supporting ecosystem must evolve alongside it. Our investment in Stageco equipment reflects our long-term commitment to building the infrastructure that India’s live entertainment future needs. Following the introduction of the VerTech Stage, this is another important milestone in strengthening the country’s production capabilities and enabling India to host increasingly ambitious global productions without compromise. Beyond bringing world-class artists to India, we are equally committed to investing behind the scenes, in infrastructure, expertise and ecosystem development, to help create the conditions for the industry to grow sustainably for years to come.”

Wouter Van Mierloo, CEO, Stageco, said, “We are excited to partner with BookMyShow Live at a time when India’s live entertainment industry is witnessing tremendous growth and global momentum, creating new opportunities for revolutionising India’s music events landscape through world-class staging and production infrastructure. As global touring productions continue to expand into newer markets, the need for internationally benchmarked infrastructure becomes increasingly important. Through this collaboration, we look forward to bringing Stageco’s global expertise and staging capabilities to India, supporting the delivery of larger, more ambitious and technically advanced live experiences for artists and audiences alike.”
BookMyShow Live has already begun integrating Stageco components into major productions, with FOH consoles deployed at Lollapalooza India 2026, Def Leppard in Shillong and Linkin Park in Bengaluru. A wider rollout across cities is planned in the coming months.
Stageco’s staging systems have supported international artists including Coldplay, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, U2 and Rammstein across global tours and live productions.
BookMyShow Live has previously brought artists such as Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone and Travis Scott to India and introduced international festival formats including Lollapalooza India. The company said its continued investments in production infrastructure, venue readiness, local talent development and government partnerships are aimed at strengthening India’s position as a global live entertainment destination.
