Chennai: India Today TV has launched the India Today Tamil YouTube channel, a dedicated digital platform focused on Tamil Nadu, current affairs and in-depth analysis in Tamil. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay launched the channel at the India Today Tamil Nadu Roundtable in Chennai on Monday.
Vijay launched the platform with a call to “let truth speak louder”. The launch coincided with the completion of 100 days of his TVK government in office and marked his first media interaction since taking charge following the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The India Today Tamil Nadu Roundtable brings together political leaders, policymakers, business figures and voices from the entertainment industry to discuss the government’s performance and issues shaping the state.
Sports Minister Aadhav Arjuna will kick off the proceedings with a presentation on the government’s performance during its first 100 days. Former BJP leader K Annamalai will discuss his political journey and future plans in a session titled ‘Annamalai Beyond BJP’.
The state’s contentious delimitation debate will also be discussed, with MDMK MP Durai Vaiko, Congress MP Praveen Chakravarty, BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan and DMK spokesperson Salem Dharanidharan participating in the session.
The Roundtable will further examine the Cauvery water dispute with PMK MP Anbumani Ramadoss, while DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran will participate in a separate political discussion. Actor Dhruv Vikram is also set to feature in an exclusive session.
Tamil Nadu’s economic prospects and investment environment will form another key part of the discussions, alongside policy challenges concerning corruption, education, energy, finance and healthcare.
