Sydney: Brand experience agency DARKHORSE has been appointed as the lead agency for Veuve Clicquot, following a competitive pitch. The luxury brand experience is among the prominent experiences in the Australasian market.
Veuve Clicquot joins DARKHORSE’s client roster alongside Jaguar Land Rover and Sephora, further strengthening the agency’s presence in the luxury and premium brand experience space across the Asia-Pacific region.
Alongside the new client partnership, DARKHORSE has announced three senior appointments across its experiential and creative teams. Sydney-based Maxine Reed has joined the agency as Experiential Director after four years at Havas Red, where she led the Brand Experience team across clients including Lexus, Toyota, L’Oreal, Netflix, Tourism Tasmania and AppleTV +. She previously spent five years at Amazon in events and marketing roles spanning Amazon Advertising, AWS and Retail.
Auckland-based Olivia Muir has joined DARKHORSE as Experiential Director following three years at Mango Communications, now FleishmanHillard, where she worked on brands including McDonald’s and New Balance. Prior to that, she worked across sponsorship and brand experience for telecommunications company Spark, including its nationwide 5G network and brand rollout.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth O’Leary has joined DARKHORSE as Creative Director in Singapore. Before joining the agency, O’Leary worked on the creative development of large-scale brand experiences across the Middle East, spanning automotive, cultural and lifestyle projects. Her experience in experiential storytelling, creative direction and multidisciplinary collaboration at Avantgarde MENA adds to DARKHORSE’s expanding creative capabilities.
The three appointments further strengthen DARKHORSE’s APAC team, which operates across New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Dubai and has delivered award-winning brand experience work across the region.

“DARKHORSE has become the brand experience agency iconic brands continue to choose across APAC. Our new partnership with Veuve Clicquot, and the appointments of Maxine, Olivia and Elizabeth are all moments to celebrate. We’ve seen fantastic growth throughout the region and our team is set to continue the great work we’ve built a reputation on delivering,” said Mike Hewitt, Founder and CEO, DARKHORSE.
