New Delhi: Hero Future Energies (HFE), the renewable energy arm of the Hero Group, has appointed two-time Olympic medallist and 2019 World Champion PV Sindhu as its brand ambassador.
The partnership brings together Sindhu’s sporting achievements and HFE’s focus on renewable energy, with the company positioning the association around India’s transition towards a cleaner and more energy-secure future.
Rahul Munjal, Founder and Chairman, Hero Future Energies, said Sindhu’s sporting journey and HFE’s work in clean energy were driven by a shared focus on ambition and long-term progress. He added that the partnership would help celebrate India’s next phase of growth.
Sindhu said clean energy would play an important role in India’s future and expressed pride in partnering with HFE.
HFE has been active in India’s renewable energy sector for 14 years and currently has a portfolio of 7.7 GWp of renewable energy assets and 2.9 GWh of battery energy storage capacity, including operational and under-development projects.
The company is expanding into complex renewable energy solutions, including Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and Round-the-Clock (RTC) power, alongside emerging areas such as energy storage and green hydrogen.
The appointment comes as HFE seeks to expand its role in meeting India’s growing energy requirements and supporting the country’s clean energy transition.
