Sydney: Legora, an agentic operating system for legal professionals, has appointed Jocelyn Bukal as Marketing Director, APJ, and Marko Zitko as Director, Communications, APJ. Both executives are based in Sydney and will oversee the company’s marketing and communications initiatives across the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
Legora operates offices in Sydney, Bengaluru, Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul, with the appointments aimed at strengthening its regional marketing and communications capabilities as the company expands across APJ.
Bukal brings more than 15 years of B2B technology marketing experience across the Asia-Pacific region. She joins Legora from developer security company Snyk, where she served as Regional Marketing Director APJ for five years. Previously, she held regional marketing leadership roles at Elastic and Instructure, along with earlier positions at Bottomline Technologies, Carnival Corporation and Symantec.
Zitko joins Legora following a year of consulting for enterprise technology companies. He previously spent three years at global freelancing marketplace Freelancer.com as Director of Marketing and Communications, where he led brand marketing, communications and investor relations. Prior to that, he spent four years at WE Communications, managing campaigns for clients including Adobe, Sony and UiPath.
Zitko has also been shortlisted for B&T’s 30 Under 30 for Public Relations multiple times and was named Most Innovative Communications Professional of the Year at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

“Legal teams across APJ are moving from evaluating AI to adopting it, and how we show up in each of these markets matters,” said Heather Paterson, VP APJ at Legora. “Jocelyn has spent her career building marketing engines for enterprise software companies scaling across this region. Marko has been working with us on our APAC communications for the past ten months, and we’ve seen firsthand how he builds trust in the market. Together they give us a regional team that matches the opportunity in front of us.”
Legora is also expanding its regional workforce and expects to more than double its APJ headcount by the end of 2026. The regional expansion follows the company’s broader growth trajectory since its founding in 2023.
The company said it became the fastest enterprise software company with a direct sales motion to reach $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Legora currently serves more than 1,500 law firms and in-house legal teams across over 50 markets.
“What drew me to Legora is that the product momentum is already here. The most striking thing about Legora is that the demand across APJ is already there. Lawyers are asking for it by name before we’ve run a single campaign. My job is to build the marketing engine that meets that demand in every market in the region,” said Jocelyn Bukal, Marketing Director, APJ.
“I’ve spent almost a decade telling enterprise technology stories across this region, and legal AI is the most exciting one right now. Legora is growing faster than any company I’ve worked with, and the job now is to build that same presence across APJ,” said Marko Zitko, Director, Communications, APJ.
Bukal and Zitko take up their respective roles immediately from Legora’s Sydney office. Their appointments come as the company continues to expand its APJ presence, with five regional offices forming part of its broader global footprint across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
