Mumbai: L’Oréal has appointed Marc Dicko as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer (CDMO) for its South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (SAPMENA) region, expanding his remit to oversee the beauty major’s digital, eCommerce and marketing agenda across more than 35 markets.
Effective September 1, 2026, Dicko will be based in Singapore and report to Vismay Sharma, President, L’Oréal SAPMENA. In the new role, he will be responsible for driving the company’s digital and marketing strategy across a geographically diverse region comprising several key growth markets.
Dicko brings 15 years of experience with L’Oréal, having worked across digital and eCommerce leadership roles spanning the company’s Global Division, North Asia, Canada and SAPMENA. His experience includes driving digital transformation and developing eCommerce-led growth strategies across multiple markets.
Prior to taking up the regional role, Dicko served as CDMO for L’Oréal Canada. During his tenure, he worked on strengthening the company’s direct-to-consumer business, accelerating indirect eCommerce initiatives and integrating artificial intelligence into operations and consumer experiences.
His appointment comes as L’Oréal continues to place digital capabilities, eCommerce and AI at the centre of its growth strategy. The SAPMENA region, with its mix of established and emerging beauty markets, is expected to be an important geography for the company as consumer journeys increasingly shift across digital and commerce platforms.
Dicko succeeds Lex Bradshaw-Zanger, who has led L’Oréal’s regional digital, marketing and eCommerce operations since 2023. With the leadership transition, Dicko will now take charge of the integrated digital, marketing and eCommerce mandate across the region.
