Bengaluru: Digital healthcare platform MediBuddy has appointed Shalabh Shrivastava, a former Swiggy and Flipkart executive, as its Head of Operations as the company looks to strengthen its operating systems and technology-led execution amid its next phase of growth.
Shrivastava brings more than two decades of experience across consumer technology, e-commerce, retail and consulting. Most recently, he led product, design and operations for Swiggy’s driver organisation, supporting the food delivery company’s hyperlocal delivery network.
At MediBuddy, Shrivastava will focus on strengthening operational processes across the company’s healthcare network, with an emphasis on automation, technology-led execution and building capabilities to support the company’s expanding operations across enterprises, insurers and consumers.
The appointment comes after MediBuddy reported its first EBITDA-positive quarter in Q4 FY26. The company said its annual revenue run rate had crossed ₹1,500 crore, while online consultations grew more than 90% year-on-year during the quarter.

Satish Kannan, Co-founder and CEO, MediBuddy, said, “We are delighted to welcome Shalabh to MediBuddy at an important point in our journey. At MediBuddy, customer obsession and execution excellence are central to how we build and operate. As we scale, strong ownership, deep problem-solving, and high standards of execution become increasingly important. Shalabh brings this mindset along with deep experience building and scaling operations and supply chains across consumer technology companies. His ability to build strong teams and simplify complex problems will be valuable as we continue to scale the organisation and think long term about the healthcare experience we want to create for end consumers. We are confident his leadership will help strengthen our operations and support our larger purpose of making quality healthcare more accessible.”
Before joining MediBuddy, Shrivastava spent more than a decade at Flipkart, where he held leadership positions across first-mile, last-mile and third-party logistics. He later became VP & National Head of Large & Furniture Supply Chain.
During his tenure at Flipkart, Shrivastava led large-scale transformation initiatives across the company’s small-parcel last-mile network and end-to-end volumetric supply chain. Earlier, he held roles at Reliance Retail, Cognizant and Ernst & Young, gaining experience across retail, consulting, analytics, CRM and investment banking.
At Reliance Retail, he worked across loyalty, analytics and CRM, adding a customer and data-led dimension to his operations experience.
Across his career, Shrivastava has focused on building operating systems capable of supporting businesses as they transition from early-stage growth to high-volume execution, while balancing efficiency, reliability and customer experience.
Commenting on his appointment, Shalabh Shrivastava, Head of Operations, MediBuddy, said, “What Satish and Enba have built at MediBuddy is both ambitious and meaningful. They have created a platform that brings together multiple parts of the healthcare ecosystem with the larger goal of making quality care more accessible. Their vision, and the opportunity to help shape its next chapter, is what drew me to MediBuddy. My years in consumer technology have taught me how much thoughtful execution matters in building businesses at scale, and I look forward to bringing that experience to healthcare, working with the team and contributing to what MediBuddy can build from here.”
Shrivastava holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur.
MediBuddy currently serves more than 37 million lives and over 1,200 corporates. Its healthcare network includes more than 140,000 doctors, 7,500 hospitals and clinics, 7,700 diagnostic centres and 10,000 pharmacies.
The company’s leadership transition comes as India’s digital-health market continues to expand. The market is projected to grow from $14.50 billion in 2024 to $106.97 billion by 2033, according to the company.
For MediBuddy, the focus now is on building a more efficient operating model capable of supporting its growing healthcare delivery network while maintaining reliability and customer experience at scale.
