Mumbai: Nestlé India has appointed Jaikishan Gianani as Head of Procurement, South Asia Region, effective August 1, 2026.
In his new role, Gianani will spearhead strategic sourcing, strengthen supplier partnerships and drive resilience initiatives to support Nestlé’s growth ambitions across the South Asia region.
Gianani joined Nestlé in 2012 as a Management Trainee after completing his studies at SPJIMR, Mumbai. Over the past 14 years, he has built a diverse career spanning procurement and supply chain functions within the company.
His experience includes international exposure with the Nestrade Procurement Hub, leadership of Packaging Procurement, strategic procurement projects and a factory supply chain leadership stint at Nanjangud. Prior to his current appointment, Gianani served as Procurement Lead – Commodities, where he was responsible for sourcing and risk management across multiple categories.
Known for his strategic approach, commercial acumen and collaborative leadership style, Gianani has contributed to business outcomes while also building and leading high-performing teams.
His journey within Nestlé reflects the company’s focus on developing internal talent and leadership capabilities. His elevation to the regional procurement role also underscores the growing strategic importance of procurement in supporting business growth, strengthening supply ecosystems and building resilience across South Asia.
