Mumbai: Shailesh Hegde has joined NDTV as National Revenue Head – NDTV Marathi & Government Sales, strengthening the broadcaster’s revenue leadership team. He moves to the role from Jai Maharashtra News, where he most recently served as Business Head.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Shailesh said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as National Revenue Head NDTV Marathi & Government Sales at NDTV!”
Hegde brings over 18 years of experience across media sales, advertising sales, sales management and marketing. During his career, he has held roles with several leading organisations, including ABP News Network, Sony Entertainment Television and Zee Telefilms.
He began his professional career with Zee Telefilms as AVP – Sales in 2001, and has since built experience across broadcast media sales and revenue management.
Before joining NDTV, Hegde served as Business Head at Jai Maharashtra News, where he was responsible for driving business and revenue initiatives.
In his new role at NDTV, Hegde will oversee national revenue for NDTV Marathi as well as government sales, bringing his extensive experience in media and advertising sales to the organisation.
