Pune: SKF India (Industrial) Limited, a technology and solutions provider of bearings and units, condition monitoring and services, has appointed Sujeeth Pai as its Managing Director, effective September 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
The appointment was approved by the Nomination Committee and the Board of Directors on August 11, 2026. In his new role, Pai will lead SKF India (Industrial)’s operations and drive the company’s profitable growth agenda.
Pai will succeed Mukund Vasudevan, who will take on the role of President for the Industrial Region covering India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East within the SKF Group. Vasudevan will transition from his position as Managing Director to become a Non-Executive Director on the Board.
The company said the governance structure creates a clear distinction between regional strategic oversight and India-focused operational leadership.
Pai brings over four years of leadership experience within SKF, having held key sales and operations roles across the organisation. Prior to joining SKF, he led the Sales and Service business for Danfoss Drives India and held senior positions at Tektronix and Fluke, managing diverse markets across India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.E.S.I.T., Bangalore, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad
