New Delhi: TukTuki, India’s homegrown micro-drama entertainment platform, has launched its latest original production, “Salaam India,” on Independence Day. The AI-powered micro-drama pays tribute to the country’s armed forces while highlighting the potential of artificial intelligence in India’s digital content ecosystem.
“Salaam India” marks TukTuki’s third AI-powered movie in three months, underscoring the platform’s focus on using AI-integrated production to develop premium vertical storytelling for mobile audiences.

Speaking about the launch, Anshita Kulshrestha, Founder, TukTuki Entertainment, said, “With ‘Salaam India,’ we are not just telling a story; we are celebrating the spirit of India through innovation. This is our third AI-driven project in 90 days, proving that AI-integrated production is the future of the ‘Make in India’ digital revolution. By leveraging AI to create cinematic scale across global settings, we are proud to bring this tribute to our armed forces to every smartphone screen this, Independence Day.”
The film follows Virat, an elite Indian intelligence operative whose life changes after terrorist commander Husain murders his family and takes him hostage. Virat is subsequently forced into a covert operation in Russia to retrieve a protected code, where he uncovers a larger conspiracy involving a technologically advanced attack planned for August 15, 2026.
With 17 days to prevent the attack, Virat must navigate a high-stakes mission involving betrayal within his own team and uncertainty surrounding the political establishment.
Alongside the launch, TukTuki introduced initiatives aimed at engaging and empowering young audiences, who account for around 80% of the platform’s micro-drama audience.
As part of these initiatives, the platform hosted “A Conversation with Brigadier Amul Asthana (Retd.)”, providing young viewers with an opportunity to hear from the veteran and reflect on his experiences and the spirit of the nation.
TukTuki also launched “Expression of Creators,” an open platform inviting aspiring writers, actors and directors to submit scripts and audition videos. The initiative aims to provide emerging homegrown talent with a digital platform to showcase their creativity.
With the launch of its third AI-driven production and the platform crossing 1 million downloads, TukTuki is positioning itself at the intersection of AI-led content creation, vertical storytelling and India’s growing micro-drama entertainment ecosystem.
