Mumbai: Mumbai-based real estate developer VB Group has appointed Rishikesh R Ranga as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as the company enters a new phase of strategic expansion and aims to scale its development platform across Mumbai and Thane.
Ranga brings nearly 17 years of experience across financial services, premium real estate, sales, marketing and business development. In his new role, he will lead the Group’s growth strategy, focusing on strengthening its project pipeline, expanding its development platform and institutionalising operations.
The appointment comes as VB Group targets potential sales inventory worth approximately ₹10,000 crore over the next two years. The company also plans to expand its workforce from around 70-80 employees to approximately 300.

Ranga has experience across business development, sales and marketing, scale and strategy, channel distribution and proptech. He began his career in financial services with the Aditya Birla Group and Bajaj Allianz, where he spent around six years managing institutional business sales portfolios and working with CFOs and boards of directors.
He later joined Lodha Group as part of its core sales team, working across launches including The World Towers, The Park, New Cuffe Parade, Fiorenza, The Trump Towers and Palava.
Ranga subsequently developed a focus on premium and luxury real estate across established Mumbai micro-markets, including Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and South Mumbai, through his stints with Supreme Universal, Dudhwala Group and Piramal Realty.

As part of his mandate, Ranga will oversee new project acquisitions, development strategy, capital deployment, sales and organisational growth. His approach will focus on identifying locations with consumer demand and evaluating opportunities across location, product, pricing, execution and marketability.
VB Group has delivered nine projects spanning approximately 1.3 million sq. ft. to date, with another 1.8 million sq. ft. currently under development across Mumbai and Thane.
With Ranga’s appointment, the Group aims to accelerate its transition towards a larger, professionally managed development enterprise while retaining its focus on location quality, entry into luxury ticket segments, disciplined capital deployment and execution.
