New Delhi: Zee Bharat has unveiled a restaged avatar aimed at connecting with a young, aspirational India, with a new brand proposition centred on “The Vibe of Young India.” The repositioning was announced on International Youth Day.
The new Zee Bharat is built around the idea of creating a platform for constructive discourse as a younger generation becomes increasingly confident, curious and participative. The channel aims to bring together conversations that fuel ambition and reflect the aspirations of an India progressing towards Viksit Bharat.
The restaged brand also moves beyond the conventional definition of a news channel, reflecting the changing consumption habits of audiences across television, social platforms, short-form video, creators, Connected TV and digital communities. Its new proposition is anchored in three principles: Real. Relevant. Relatable.

Commenting on the repositioning, Raktim Das, CEO, Zee Media Corporation Limited, said, “We are relaunching Zee Bharat in a completely reimagined avatar with Young India at its core. Designed as a social-first, digital-native, omnichannel news brand with a 24×7 streaming approach, the new Zee Bharat is built for audiences who seamlessly consume content across television, mobile, social media, connected TV and digital platforms. This transformation reflects Zee Media’s commitment to building news brands that are aligned with the evolving consumer habits.”
The new content ecosystem will span news, internet culture, technology, entertainment, lifestyle and real conversations, with a slate of genre-focused shows including News Hotspot, News Laundey, 18 Plus, Meme Reaction, Mission UPSC, Techlusive, The Behen Show Dil Dimag Dosti, Spill the Chai, The Front Row, Gyan Dose, Purani Files and Creator’s Day Out, alongside digital-first initiatives.
As part of the restaging, Zee Bharat will also extend its presence beyond the screen by bringing together content, creators, communities and experiences through multi-city engagement platforms, gaming, creator-led experiences and immersive on-ground properties.
The new positioning is aimed not merely at a particular age group but at a mindset characterised by curiosity, ambition, optimism and self-expression. Through its new avatar, Zee Bharat seeks to provide a platform where the aspirations of Young India can find expression, diverse perspectives can come together constructively, and audiences can participate in the larger journey towards Viksit Bharat.`
