Levista joins hands with Times Group for Mirchi Music Awards South 2020

Bangalore: Levista Coffee has associated with Radio Mirchi for the upcoming “Mirchi Music Awards South 2020” to be held on 28th Feb. 2020 at Anna University Auditorium, Chennai.

Mr. S. Shriram, Vice President, Levista Coffee said, “From the days of listening to AM frequencies in the 80s and 90s, FM in the new Millennium and on online Music stations like Gaana over the past few years, one thing that hasn’t changed at all is that Coffee and Music go hand in hand. Radio (and Online Stations) have been the preferred channels to listen to new songs as well as retro and these days, most people do not even download music on their devices, rather listen on the go. We feel proud and honored to have become the Exclusive Beverage Partner for MMA 2020 by associating ourselves with the Number One Radio Station in India for this prestigious event.”

Commenting on the association, Manoj Mathan, Regional Director (South) at Radio Mirchi, said “This year is the 10th edition of the Mirchi Music Awards South, the biggest Music Awards of its kind in South India. Every year we look forward to associating with strong  brands like Levista and it is an absolute pleasure to be doing this association at such a prestigious milestone for the Mirchi Music Awards South. We hope that this association will stay strong for all future editions of Mirchi Music Awards South.” 

“Many people start their day with Coffee and along with it runs Music in the background and data has it to prove that Radio Mirchi and Gaana are the preferred medium for most listeners across India for almost all languages, so we believe Coffee is best suited with radio, music and Radio Mirchi”, quips Shriram 

Levista offers Instant and Filter Coffee Powder and shares valuable shelf space with the likes of Internationally acclaimed brands such as HUL’s Bru and Nestle’s Nescafe & Sunrise while also brushing shoulders with local behemoths such as ITC’s Sunbean, Leo Coffee, Narasus, Coffee Day, Tata Coffee, Cothas, Vivekananda Coffee and several other hitherto unknown and no-name (freshly ground) Coffee powder names which are a perennial purchase for a number of households across cities. The Company plans to deeply penetrate the two Southern States of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka which currently contribute to over two-thirds of the business.

Levista completes its silver jubilee month in Feb. 2020. “We are proud to say that we have not only garnered a significant market share in the Rs. 2,200 Crore pa Instant Coffee Market in India in such a short span of time but have also cornered a significant mindshare among our patrons and consumers who continue to refill their home and office pantry stations with Levista”, said Shriram while elaborating plans of expansion and growth.

“Levista is currently present across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana through a Distribution Network spanning over 500 Distributors servicing 25,000 &more General Trade stores, popularly known as Kirana shops or Mom & Pop Stores. On Modern Retail, Levista is present across India at select stores through Reliance Retail, Reliance Mart, Reliance Smart, More Hypermarkets and Supermarkets, Spencers Retail Stores among others as well as at Metro Cash & Carry”, said Shriram adding that the company aims to onboard 1,500 more Distributors and reach a tally of 100,000 Points of Sales by the end of FY 2022.
