146 brands advertised on both Regional and Hindi+English Sports channels during first 57 matches of IPL 15: TAM Report

According to TAM Sports Report, on comparison of Commercial Advertising on TV for IPL 15 and IPL 14 for the first 57 matches, the average ad volume per channel increased by 6% during IPL 15 over IPL 14.

Count of Advertisers and Brands were highest in the 7th week of IPL 15.

Among the Top 5 categories four were common between IPL 14 and 15 during the first 57 matches. The Top 5 categories list had four categories from ‘E-commerce’ sector with 32% share of Ad Volumes in IPL 15.

The Top 5 categories together had nearly 40% share of Ad Volumes in IPL 15 whereas in IPL 14 it accounted for 36% share of ad volumes.

Among the Top 5 advertisers, Sporta Technologies, Think & Learn and K P Pan Foods were the 3 common advertisers during IPL 15 and IPL 14.

Top 5 Advertisers contributed 24% share of Ad Volumes during IPL 15.

Century Ply was top Exclusive Brand on Hindi+ English language Sports channels, whereas Asian Paints Apex UltimaProtek leads the Exclusive Brands on Regional Sports channels.

Total 146 brands advertised on both Regional and Hindi+ English Sports channels during 57 matches of IPL 15. “Dream11.com” was on top among the common brands.
