Mumbai: Qyuki Creator and composer Clinton Cerejo, in collaboration with Bollywood Playback Singer, Bianca Gomes are all set to sway the audiences with their new pop band “Shor Police.”
The band led by Clinton and Bianca will have cutting edge music and a brand new contemporary sound. Bianca dons the co- composer hat for this project to bring in some sticky hooks and slamming sounds. A pun on the word Chor Police, Shor Police also aims to put a fresh spin on cover songs and renditions.
Previously, Clinton and Bianca have collaborated in mainstream Bollywood and lent their voices to tracks in hit movies such as Manhattan in English Vinglish, Clinton has also been a composer for tracks (Lamho ke rasgulle, Hatt Mullah) sung by Bianca. The talented duo are currently associated with Clinton’s solo Fusion outfit called The Clinton Cerejo Band.
Talking about Shor Police, Clinton Cerejo shares “The world needs a fresh outlook on pop! With this band, we aim to bring the fun back into the music and get audiences excited about the genre again!” It’s also a much more accessible sound and a departure from my folk fusion side.”
Adding to that Bianca shares “Our equation is fantastic and with this band, we aim to create great tracks that audiences will love listening to ”
The debut track of the band, “Anjaana” released today across all digital platforms. Written by Nirmika Singh, the track sees the lead singers travelling and singing aloud on the roads of Bandadhara, Maharashtra.
