Chennai: Star India’s Tamil GEC, Vijay TV is set to strengthen its core prime time band of 9 PM to 10 PM, during the weekdays, with the launch of two new fiction properties Kaatrin Mozhi and Thazhampo that is scheduled to go on air from 7th October 2019.
The revamp comes in to effect after the completion of BiggBoss Tamil season 3 that is gearing up for its Grand Finale episode by this weekend.
Kaatrin Mozhi is Romantic family drama that will aired at 9.30 PM every Monday to Friday.The story revolves around the heartwarming love and affection of Kanmaniwho was born with an inability to speak and Santhosh, a good hearted young guy who returns from US, who has a loveable bonding with Kanmanisince their childhood kids.
On the other hand Thazhampoo is a supernatural fantasy drama that will be aired every Monday to Friday at 10 PM.
The story of Thazhampoo revolves around an emotional clash between Nagalogam, which is a world of Snakes and humans. The king, Nagayogi along with his people (who are snakes) live in Nagalogam. Crisis hits Nagalogam when the Athmalingam (athmalingam is a treasury lingam worshiped by them) goes missing from their world. Kind Nagayogi decides to send his warrior Naga, who was engaged to his daughter Vasuki to bring back the athmalingam from earth. Naga goes to the world in search of it. Naga enters the human world. Pretending as an orphan he disguises himself as a human and enters Revathy’s life, to take away the athmalingam. In the due course, Revathy and Naga like each other and they fall in love. The triangle love involving Vasuki, Revathy and Naga marks further story of the show.
Vijay TV is also strengthening its weekend prime time with the lunch of international game show format “The Wall” at 9 PM. The game show is being produced by Endemol Shine India.
