Forbes India unveils the achievers of promise with ‘Tycoons of Tomorrow 2021’
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Forbes India, the presenters of some of the most aspirational and coveted lists that are considered industry benchmarks, unveils the ‘Tycoons of Tomorrow, 2021’. The winners appear in the latest edition of the Forbes India magazine and on the website. The list celebrates the talent of 20-odd influential young achievers across India’s business, sports, and entertainment industries who are driving remarkable change and are poised to shape the success story of India.

Forbes India’s annual Tycoons of Tomorrow list features India’s newest generation of trailblazers across family managed businesses, first generation entrepreneurs, actors, and sportspersons, who have accomplished significant milestones, but are only getting started in their journeys. Each of the winners has displayed the vigour to revitalise an existing enterprise, industry, or craft, and has redefined the rules, to create something new.

Speaking on the list launch, Brian Carvalho, Editor, Forbes India said, “The list brings to the spotlight those front-runners who are role models, each on a transformational journey to innovate, discover, grow, influence, and build a better world.”

Sharing her thoughts on the annual Tycoons of Tomorrow list, Preeti Sahni, Chief Operating Officer, Forbes India said, “We are so proud to present some of the most disruptive and inspiring stories of first gen and gen-next achievers and take pride in reinventing ourselves as India’s most influential brand, chronicling engaging stories that define India’s growth story.”

Some of those making it to the most aspired list of ‘Tycoons of Tomorrow, 2021’ are 23-year-old Aditi Ashok whose impressive show at the Tokyo Olympics brought her to the spotlight; cricketer KL Rahul, touted as a future India captain; actors Rajkummar Rao and Mithila Palkar. Rao comes from a non-film family and is regarded as one of the finest of his generation. The latter is making the most of the digital boom, carving a niche with her medium-and-language-agnostic stance.

The list also features those from the world of business and entrepreneurship. Among those who made the cut include siblings Adwaita and Anchit Nayar who are taking their mother Falguni Nayar’s legacy ahead at Nykaa. Mahima Datla, who has been deftly leading pharmaceutical company Biological E in the race to bolster Covid-19 vaccinations in India, also features in the list. The booming EdTech, fintech and software product sectors are also represented on the list.
