In an exclusive chat with medianews4U, Dheeraj Raj – Founder – Sociapa speaks to us on the agency, launching it 2019 and going through the pandemic and much more.

You launched in 2019, and then the pandemic happened, how did you navigate through these tough times?

Situations are uncertain and challenges will always be there. So, during these tough times we adapted to new measures in order to alleviate the risks.

We were rigorously tracking our Expenses against the Revenue, as it was utmost important for analyzing our Financial Strengths. Also, as it was quite difficult to anticipate how long the Pandemic would last, we did prepare ourselves for all the scenarios by planning for 3 months followed by 6 and so on and so forth.

In order to make it through the Pandemic and to stay abreast, we also made a shift in our strategies, service offerings and our overall business operations that were comforting to the Brands/Clients we were working for.

We were all in this together and it was extremely crucial to make sure that our Team is always positive and optimistic for which we used to engage, discuss, brainstorm, share and most importantly stay connected via Zoom.

While at one point where we have been conscious about our planning at the other side we also witnessed that Pandemic gave a hot seat to digital industries as brands entirely moved from Print and Outdoor to Digital.

Today there are many such platforms, what is the USP of Sociapa?

Yes, there are many and there will be, as the digital media worked well so far. However, Sociapa’s soul focus is the USP which is Process driven brand -centric marketing solutions.

We are having ensemble skill sets of exclusive minds which are aligned and manifesting better each day. The Sherlock in us is digging out the best.We have a strong, creative and hardworking team and to be precise every service or work we provide is fully backed with a lot of research and is thought driven. We also periodically assess Our Organization’s Culture in light of the Company’s changing Business Goals which sets us apart from others.

You say our marketing ninja employs the best PR practices, can you elaborate?

Market research, understanding the consumer behaviour and coming up with ideas that resonate with our brands at the same time is what we believe in. The team executes powerful social media campaigns, storytelling, conversation, influencer seeding and recommendation to help brands connect with audiences intellectually and emotionally. We execute strategic marketing and social media campaigns that build equity, increase engagement and drive measurable business results for branded consumer products and services.

Today thanks to the pandemic the brand communication has changed, what are the trends you are noticing?

Indeed, the way brands communicate, has changed post pandemic.

Today, the only way is to stay abreast with the changing time and behavior and most importantly one must not lose the emotional connect.ROI today also means “Return on Integrity”, The communication now changed from highlighting the USPs to touching human emotions through generosity, positivity, and a sense of belonging.Data and Personalization has now become all the more relevant.

Today more and more brands are tilting toward the digital. How would you innovate, strategies for a traditional brand still hesitant to get on the digital platform?

Our team has always been revolving around the brand’s need and desires.

So, when it comes to traditional brands, where there are certain hesitations, it can surely be curbed by excellent research and execution ideas to justify the need of the brand in the digital market. Strategies are like water; it works the way the marketer directs, some strategy would work for one brand and some won’t, so it’s bootless to have a standard practice rather we focus on suggesting an exclusive way to develop a brand as per its niche.

What would be your plans on expansion and growth in 2022?

There are many areas in which our company has the potential to grow. We are constantly looking for ways to become marketable in new areas. Our plans are to expand/build new facilities in different locations, strengthen our team, both in terms of their skills and number along with our Clientele.

Three years down the line where do you see Sociapa?

In the next 3 years, Sociapa aims to be the leading Marketing agency known for its excellent ideas and strategies. We aim to be the ones who bring the “WOW FACTOR” to the Marketing Universe. We also believe that Artificial Intelligence is on a mission to permeate every industry, from Healthcare to Travel, E-comm to Finance, hence we aim to set up our own team of AI experts that will help us improve our operations and serve our Clients better.
