Chrome DM Week 18: Infotainment genre emerges as the top gainer

Chrome LIVE Wk 22: English News genre emerges as the top gainer with 0.30 pc growth

According to Chrome Data Analytics and Media data for week-18, 2022, Infotainment genre became the top gainers of the week as it grew by 0.62 per cent. In the infotainment  genre, History TV18 channel gained the highest OTS with 89.9 per cent in all India 1 lakh+ market.

OTS is the actual census-based, percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 76.16 million homes, reported by Chrome Data Analytics & Media, spread across Analog Cable, Digital Cable and DTH.

Music genre claimed the second position and grew by 0.61 per cent in the Hindi Speaking Market (HSM) excluding the <1 lakh market. In the Music  genre, MTV Beats gained the highest OTS with 91.6 percent. Business News stood at the third position by gaining 0.22 per cent in 6 Metros. In the Business News  genre, CNBC TV18 secured the highest OTS with 82.5 percent.

 

Hindi News claimed the fourth position in HSM excluding <1 lakh market and grew by 0.14 per cent. In the Hindi news genre ABP News channel gained the highest OTS with 99.9 per cent. Youth stood at fifth position and grew by 0.02 percent in HSM excluding <1 lakh market. In Youth genre, MTV gained the highest OTS with 89.3 per cent.
