Animation Show “Sriman Rama” on DD National captivates young audiences with over 2 million views

New Delhi: DD National’s animated series “Sriman Rama,” showcasing the childhood chronicles of Prabhu Shriram, has garnered an impressive viewership of over 2 million in just three months since its Hindi telecast, according to BARC HSM 15+ data.

The series invites young viewers into the enchanting world of Prabhu Shriram during his time at Maharshi Vasisht Gurukul, where he shares adventures with his brothers, friends, and sister. Aimed at children aged 6 to 12, “Sriman Rama” highlights the positive qualities of its titular character, encouraging young audiences to relate to his virtues and fostering values that contribute to their growth as responsible individuals.

By blending entertainment with educational themes, “Sriman Rama” aims to shape the moral compass of its viewers, making it a valuable addition to DD National’s programming lineup. The show’s success reflects a growing demand for quality content that resonates with children and their families.

As “Sriman Rama” continues to capture the hearts of viewers, it underscores DD National’s commitment to delivering engaging and meaningful programming that inspires the next generation.

“It gives us immense happiness that the show is received very well on the National Channel. Though we are used to watching kids’ content on exclusive channels, DD National’s reach and legacy of Ramayan is surely a reason for us to go with telecasting first on the National Broadcaster. We are receiving good positive applause from all corners and we would like to thank them all for highlighting the need for good children’s content that is culturally relevant, inspired from the ethos of this land and engaging. At Mara Creations, while working on the current show, we continue to create more such wonderful stories and characters that the kids of Bharat can cherish for their life time” says Satyakashi Bhargava, Creator, Director & Founder-Mara Creations.

In the last week episode of Mann Ki Baat, Hon’ble Prime Minister Modi ji gave a clarion call for the need of Made in India Animation and we are happy that our Srimanrama featured there. As he mentioned, it’s time to take our stories and characters to the world stage. After 4 months of telecast of DD National, we are extremely happy with the viewership and the response. Currently we are working on the next episodes and coming up with all Indian languages. We have the plans to take this up to the world languages as well as the qualities of Maryada Purushotham are universal and introducing him to the kids around the world will bring peace and harmony” says Bharavi Kodavanti, CEO Mara Creations.
