ZEE Entertainment Reinvents Itself as a Content & Technology Powerhouse with a Bold New Brand Universe

In line with its consumer-focused approach, all the channels and platforms of the Company will embrace the new brand universe on 8th June 2025, during the telecast of ZEE Cine Awards.

Mumbai: In a significant strategic shift, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (Z) has unveiled its new corporate identity, positioning itself as a Content and Technology Powerhouse. The transformation marks a milestone in the company’s three-decade journey and underscores its commitment to shaping the future of entertainment by integrating cutting-edge technology with rich storytelling.

The announcement was made by CEO Punit Goenka during the ZEE Cine Awards 2025, where the company revealed a futuristic and dynamic brand universe designed to reflect the evolving aspirations of a young, emerging India. The full rollout across all Z platforms is scheduled for June 8, 2025, coinciding with the awards show telecast.

A New Era for Z: Purpose-Driven, Tech-Enabled

As part of this strategic repositioning, Z is aligning its operations around three core drivers—Purpose, Mission, and Vision—aimed at enhancing long-term growth, operational excellence, and stakeholder value.

  • Purpose: “To enrich the lives of people around the world by creating extraordinary moments, which celebrate the power of optimism and togetherness.”

  • Vision: “To bring about a positive change in people’s lives through purposeful entertainment.”

  • Mission: “To consistently strive towards creating value for all stakeholders, with a sharp focus on keeping consumers entertained and informed through world-class infotainment platforms.”

This framework will guide Z’s decision-making and execution across content creation, distribution, and monetization—now increasingly driven by data, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

New Brand Identity: Blending Legacy with the Future

Z’s revamped brand universe represents a careful blend of its deep-rooted legacy and forward-looking ambitions. Designed with a sharp, modern aesthetic, the new identity reflects the company’s resolve to remain agile and adaptive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The refreshed visual language is inspired by India’s rich cultural tapestry and global sensibilities, presenting Z as a future-ready media entity. From broadcast to OTT and digital, the new brand architecture will extend across all platforms, embracing a unified look that reinforces brand equity while allowing flexibility for creative expression.

“The futuristic, dynamic design reflects the capabilities of our people and platforms to innovate, scale, and deliver impactful experiences,” said CEO Punit Goenka. “It is an expression of our bold spirit and our aspiration to shape the future of content and technology, both in India and globally.”

‘Yours Truly, Z’: A Brand Promise of Authenticity and Connection

At the heart of this transformation lies Z’s new brand promise—‘Yours Truly, Z’—a heartfelt commitment to its viewers, partners, employees, and stakeholders. The promise symbolizes authenticity, trust, and the emotional connection the brand has nurtured over three decades.

In open letters addressed to its stakeholders, Z expressed its gratitude and aspirations. To its viewers, Z pledged: “I promise to make you laugh louder, dream bigger and feel more deeply in every moment and through every experience. After all, life is not about counting the beats of your heart, but counting the moments that make your heart beat!”

To its employees, the letter read: “The most beautiful part of our story is not what we have achieved together, but the journey we have undertaken to achieve it. You are not just a part of this journey; you are the journey.”

This emotional articulation will be brought to life across Z’s platforms in multiple Indian languages, reinforcing the brand’s deep cultural relevance and inclusive approach.

Core Brand Pillars and Strategic Direction

Z’s future roadmap is anchored in key brand pillars that emphasize innovation, agility, inclusivity, and accountability. The company aims to revolutionize the consumer experience by:

  • Integrating advanced technologies into content production and distribution.
