New Delhi: In a significant move aimed at diversifying its business model, ITV Network is stepping into the ticketed events space, with the launch of a dedicated events vertical. The initiative is being spearheaded by Akshansh Yadav, Chief Product & Technology Officer at the network, and marks a strategic pivot towards experiential offerings that generate both engagement and revenue.
The network’s first foray into this space is the upcoming ‘We Women Want’ Conclave, scheduled for August 7 at The Imperial Hotel, Delhi. Designed as a celebration of women achievers and empowerment, the event will feature a star-studded line-up including Neha Dhupia, Sunny Leone, Urfi Javed, Nimrat Kaur, Dia Mirza, and Ekta Kapoor, among others. A central highlight of the conclave will be the presentation of the Shakti Awards, which will honour distinguished women across fields.
Tickets, available through BookMyShow, District, and the event’s official website WeWomenWant.com, have witnessed a rapid sell-out of the initial release. In response to the overwhelming demand, ITV Network has expanded the venue’s capacity to accommodate a larger audience.
“Digital media is evolving, and ticketed events are emerging as the next big wave—offering audiences not just content but immersive experiences. We’re thrilled that our first foray into ticketed events is being met with such enthusiasm, validating our vision for a diversified and future-ready business model,” said Yadav, underlining the network’s broader transformation strategy.
The move reflects a growing trend among global media companies to explore alternate revenue models beyond advertising. With audiences seeking more direct and participatory engagement, ticketed experiences are gaining traction as a high-impact avenue for brand-building and monetization.
For ITV Network, the We Women Want Conclave represents more than just a single event—it signals the start of a long-term plan to build a portfolio of flagship properties that connect with diverse audiences, support meaningful causes, and open up new commercial opportunities.
