New Delhi: GoKwik has announced the appointment of Vargab Bakshi as its new Chief Growth Officer. With a proven track record in building and scaling internet-first businesses, Vargab will be responsible for spearheading GoKwik’s growth initiatives, focusing on branding, partnerships, international expansion, and ecosystem development.
In his new role, Vargab will lead the company’s comprehensive growth charter, encompassing marketing, go-to-market strategies, global partner ecosystems, and product-led growth (PLG). His focus will extend across GoKwik’s suite of software products, including those featured on the Shopify App Store.
Prior to GoKwik, Vargab held senior leadership positions at Shopify and Wix. As a founding member of Shopify’s India team, he was instrumental in establishing the brand’s presence in the region. He led the GTM strategy for India and emerging markets, launched and scaled the APAC partner ecosystem, and played a key role in building Shopify as a trusted brand for Indian D2C entrepreneurs and developers.
At Wix.com, he served as VP and Country Head for India, overseeing marketing, enterprise sales, partnerships, and product localization. He significantly grew Wix’s market share, particularly among digital agencies and non-technical users.
Vargab also conceptualized and launched GrowKwik, GoKwik’s D2C-first, content-led, influencer-driven education platform. With over 500,000 cumulative followers across Instagram and YouTube, the platform aims to empower ecommerce entrepreneurs and serves as a high-impact learning channel.

The company recently secured $13 million in a growth round led by RTP Global, with continued support from existing investors.
