Bombay Dyeing intensifies anti-counterfeit drive to protect customers and legacy

Mumbai: Bombay Dyeing has intensified its crackdown on counterfeit products through a series of raids across key cities including Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kerala, and most recently at a prominent mall in Mumbai. With a legacy spanning over 145 years, the brand is determined to preserve the trust, innovation, and uncompromising quality it is renowned for.

As part of this initiative, Bombay Dyeing has also identified the misuse of its brand identity. Counterfeiters have been circulating products using a purple logo, while the original Bombay Dyeing logo remains blue. The company is urging customers to remain vigilant and check the logo carefully when purchasing to ensure they are buying authentic products.

These efforts underline the company’s commitment to protect its loyal customers from misleading practices. Counterfeit products not only compromise consumer trust by passing off inferior goods as originals but also erode the heritage Bombay Dyeing has built across generations. The company’s firm stance against such practices reinforces its belief that genuine quality cannot be replicated.
