Mumbai: Nuuk, a new-age D2C home appliance brand, has announced a collaboration with celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar for its latest multi-film campaign. The campaign spotlights Nuuk’s philosophy of “design first, function always,” showcasing how the brand’s products fuse contemporary design with purposeful innovation for modern Indian homes.
Karan Johar, known for his creative storytelling and trend-setting sensibilities, perfectly complements Nuuk’s design-led ethos. Like Nuuk, he represents reinvention, aspiration, and the ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. The collaboration celebrates this shared belief — that thoughtful design transforms everyday experiences.

The first film in the series introduces Nuuk BRĪSK, India’s 1st Food-Safe ILAG® CeramicTech™ Air Fryer. Set in a modern kitchen, the film captures the brand’s essence of functional innovation rooted in human-centered design. Built for the contemporary Indian kitchen, BRĪSK features an ILAG-certified ceramic coating that’s 100% toxin-free and food-safe even at high temperatures. It incorporates Nuuk’s proprietary 360° Rapid Air Circulation system, a precision-engineered heating element for consistent performance, and a Shake Alarm for perfect results every time.
The Air Fryer also offers 8 preset modes, including Indian favourites like Tandoor, Crispy Fry, Ferment, and Dehydrate, alongside Bake, Grill, and Toast. Despite its 6.5L capacity, it occupies 30% less counter space, balancing functionality with sleek design.
Following BRĪSK, the campaign will feature a series of films across Nuuk’s other hero products — HÖT BLOX, REN PRO, HĀLO, and BFF — each exploring how design and performance merge seamlessly across spaces like the kitchen and living room.
