Mumbai: KFC India has unveiled its latest campaign featuring Bollywood’s iconic comedy legend Johny Lever, bringing his trademark humour to spotlight the extensive range offered in the new Great KFC Feastival menu.
Positioned around the idea of “range”, the film playfully contrasts Johny Lever’s celebrated versatility with the unmatched variety of KFC’s Feastival offerings—each meal priced at a flat INR 299.
The video opens with Johny in an unusually sombre setting—dimly lit room, melancholic music and a dramatic monologue about how people once remembered him for his “range”. But now, he confesses, the Great KFC Feastival—with its impressive range of chicken meals—may have out-ranged even him.
As the Feastival spread is revealed—featuring the crunchy, cheesy Chizza, the all-chicken-no-bun Double Down Burger, the Gold Zinger Burger dunked in cheese, and 9 pieces of KFC’s signature crispy chicken—Johny’s emotions quickly shift. What follows is a rapid-fire showcase of his many avatars: Tapori, tragic hero, over-dramatic poet and calm narrator, each reacting to the finger-lickin’ good menu.
His voiceover, “Bas 299 each mein…”, underscores the unbeatable value of the Feastival lineup as he ultimately accepts, with comic despair, that KFC’s culinary range just might surpass his own.
The Great KFC Feastival menu is available across all 1300+ KFC restaurants in India for dine-in and takeaway, as well as on the KFC app, website and leading food delivery platforms. Customers can also pre-order via the KFC app while dining in to skip queues and dive straight into their favourite meals.
