Bangalore: Burger Singh, India’s largest homegrown burger chain, marked its entry into Bangalore with an unprecedented citywide activation — The Big Singh Feast — serving over 3,300 free meals in a single day, powered by 15,000+ registrations and massive queues across Sarjapur, HSR Layout and BTM Layout. The campaign delivered an overwhelming citywide response, with many on-ground marketers comparing the buzz to blockbuster movie openings and major tech drops.
From noon to 10 pm, all three outlets witnessed continuous lines, with customers arriving well before opening hours. Families, students, office-goers and neighbourhood communities turned the event into a citywide celebration, reflecting the growing emotional resonance and cultural appeal of homegrown F&B brands in metro markets.
A large part of the campaign’s success stemmed from its sharply orchestrated digital-plus-on-ground strategy. The digital campaign included targeted hyperlocal outreach, countdown creatives, WhatsApp-driven acceleration, and a series of quirky AI-generated reels that went viral. Offline efforts encompassed neighbourhood visibility, outdoor brand reminders, standees and strong on-ground mobilisation. Together, these pushed awareness, excitement and registrations to record levels.
The free meals included two of Burger Singh’s cult favourites—the Big Crispy Chicken Meal and Udta Punjab 2.0 Meal—served with Dilli 6 Fries and the signature Gulabo drink. First-time visitors highlighted the bold desi flavours, richer ingredient profiles and unique seasoning as clear differentiators from typical international fast-food offerings.
