New Delhi: adidas India has appointed Atish Negi as its new Brand Director, marking a key addition to its leadership team as the sportswear major sharpens its brand strategy and consumer outreach in the country. Negi announced the move through a LinkedIn update, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Brand Director at adidas!”
Negi joins adidas from Haleon, where he served as Category Head – Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) for the Indian Subcontinent since July 2022. At Haleon—and previously at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, where he worked for nearly a decade—Negi built deep expertise across brand management, consumer marketing and category leadership. During his tenure at GSK, he led key brands including Sensodyne, Iodex and products in the digestive health portfolio, and also handled senior sales responsibilities across multiple North and Northeast regions.
Before his transition into the healthcare and FMCG space, Negi began his career with the Super-Max Group, working across Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines in business development and distribution roles. He also gained early industry exposure as a summer intern with Procter & Gamble in Singapore.
With a professional background spanning international markets, brand strategy, consumer insights and category growth, Negi is expected to play a pivotal role in driving adidas India’s brand momentum at a time when the sportswear market is expanding rapidly on the back of lifestyle, athleisure and performance categories.
adidas India has not released an official statement, but the appointment signals a continued focus on strengthening brand positioning and deepening consumer engagement in one of the company’s key growth markets.
