Mumbai: Malaysia Airlines has launched its global New Year campaign, “Time for New Chapters”, inviting travellers to embrace new beginnings and plan meaningful journeys across 2026. Timed with the start of the year, the campaign encourages early travel planning for leisure, family reunions, milestone moments and business travel.
The campaign will be available for booking from January 7 to January 20, 2026, for travel up to November 30, 2026. Travellers can access special all-in return fares starting from INR 17,199. Members of the airline’s Enrich loyalty programme will receive priority access to selected fares from January 6, along with an additional 5% discount on promotional fares. Non-members are encouraged to sign up during the campaign period to unlock the same benefits and added value.
Through Time for New Chapters, Malaysia Airlines highlights the breadth of its expanding global network, offering seamless connectivity to international destinations such as Sydney, Seoul and Shanghai, alongside regional getaways including Cebu, Siem Reap and Krabi via sister airline Firefly from KLIA Terminal 1. The offering is further strengthened by the airline’s Bonus Side Trip (BST) programme, which allows travellers to explore Malaysian destinations such as Penang and Langkawi during stopovers, positioning Kuala Lumpur as a key gateway in line with Visit Malaysia 2026.
The campaign also spotlights Malaysia Airlines’ onboard experience, designed to deliver comfort and distinctly Malaysian hospitality. Passengers flying on the airline’s next-generation A330neo aircraft to destinations including Tokyo, Bali, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland can expect enhanced ergonomics, larger high-definition in-flight entertainment screens and a more seamless travel experience. Selected aircraft feature in-flight entertainment via MHstudio, while complimentary Wi-Fi via MHconnect is available across all cabin classes.
Culinary offerings remain a central part of the experience, with Malaysia Airlines introducing its 2026 Best of Malaysia and Best of Asia in-flight menus. From January 1, Best of Malaysia celebrates local heritage with rotating state-inspired dishes, beginning with Selangor favourites such as Daging Semur and Ayam Semur served with Nasi Minyak on selected flights from Sabah and Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur.
As part of the year-round Best of Asia menu, South Korean-inspired dishes will be featured from January to February, followed by Thai-inspired selections from March to April. Dishes such as Spicy Gogi Jorim, Dak Bokkeum Tang, Pad Phet Chicken and Massaman Curry will be served across selected regional routes in Business Suite, Business Class and Economy Class.
With Time for New Chapters, Malaysia Airlines positions itself as a partner in travellers’ journeys through 2026, combining attractive fares, expanded connectivity and an elevated onboard experience rooted in Malaysian warmth and hospitality.
