Mumbai: Actor Sanjay Dutt, along with entrepreneurs Mokksh Sani—Founder of Living Liquidz and Cartel Bros—and his brother Manish Sani, has expanded their portfolio into sports-led creator entertainment with the acquisition of The Glenwalk Lions, a franchise team in the All Stars Ball Tennis Cricket League (ASTCL) Season 2. The move marks a strategic foray into the fast-growing intersection of lifestyle, content creation and sports entertainment.
The All Stars Ball Tennis Cricket League Season 2 is scheduled to be held from February 9 to February 14, 2026, at the Wings Sports Centre, Bandra (West), Mumbai, and will be streamed on the Sony Sports Network. Curated by GS Sports, the league is themed “Bachpan Ka Khel Karega Entertain”, blending the nostalgia of tennis ball cricket with the energy of creators and Bollywood personalities. Positioned as more than a conventional cricket tournament, ASTCL reflects the evolving creator economy, bringing together sport, entertainment and community engagement.
Season 2 will feature 10 teams competing in a league-cum-knockout format, with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals. Designed as a high-octane, fast-paced competition, the league aims to deliver an immersive experience for both on-ground audiences and digital viewers.
The Glenwalk Lions, captained by actor Aamir Ali, along with Surya Sharma and Vikas Jain, will begin their campaign on February 9, facing the Delhi Dragons in what is expected to be a closely contested opening match. The league also boasts a strong line-up of Bollywood and television personalities, including Arjun Bijlani, Karanvir Bohra, Rohit Roy, Prince Narula, Karan Wahi, Karanveer Mehra and Aly Goni, among others, further amplifying its appeal as a creator-driven sporting property.
Speaking on the association, Mokksh Sani said, “ASTCL perfectly captures the energy of today’s creator-first world. Investing in The Glenwalk Lions felt like a natural extension of our belief in platforms that bring people together with purpose. The fact that a portion of the proceeds supports charity makes this a genuinely meaningful venture for all of us.”
He added, “We see ASTCL as a natural and strategic extension of our brand philosophy at the intersection of lifestyle and youth culture. This league captures the dynamic energy of modern entertainment. Owning The Glenwalk Lions allows us to leverage that synergy while simultaneously contributing to a charitable cause, adding significant purpose and depth to our involvement.”
Echoing the sentiment, Sanjay Dutt shared, “My attraction to ASTCL went far beyond the boundary ropes; it was the league’s heart that truly resonated with me. We are using the massive synergy of sport and cinema to drive real-world impact. Leading The Glenwalk Lions isn’t just about the trophy—it’s about championing a cause that empowers our community. That is what makes this partnership genuinely special.”
In line with its social commitment, ASTCL will donate a portion of the league’s proceeds to a chosen charity, reinforcing its focus on social responsibility alongside entertainment.
Season 2 matches are expected to be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network, building on the success of previous editions. Fans can also follow live moments and exclusive updates through the ASTCL Official Instagram handle and the dedicated ASTCL Official App, as the league gears up for another action-packed season.
