Mumbai: Times Group has elevated Rajesh Madampath to the position of Chief Business Officer – BCA, effective immediately. He will take on the new responsibility in addition to his current role as Chief Revenue Officer – Sports & Special Projects.
As Business Head of BCA, Madampath will oversee the vertical’s P&L and steer its strategic direction, growth and overall performance. His expanded remit will span sales, client servicing, content, guest coordination, production and marketing, as well as promos and graphics.
In the new role, he will work closely with the leadership team to scale the business, strengthen customer engagement and accelerate revenue growth, according to an internal company announcement.
A Times Group veteran of more than 24 years, Madampath has held leadership responsibilities across multiple revenue portfolios. During his tenure, he has driven strategic growth initiatives and developed high-impact sponsorship properties that have contributed to the organisation’s business performance.
The company highlighted his execution capabilities, understanding of the business and experience in building high-performing teams as key strengths that position him to lead BCA’s next phase of growth.
For his responsibilities as Revenue Head – Government Sales and Business Head – BCA, including Government Sales, Madampath will report to Ashish Sehgal, CEO – Times Television Network.
His reporting structure for other mandates will remain unchanged. For Special Projects, he will continue to work directly with N. Subramanian, Executive Director and Group CEO, The Times Group.
For the Pickleball vertical, Madampath will continue to work closely with Sameer Pathak, President – Pickleball, and Rohit Gopakumar, CEO – Digital and Entertainment.
