Chennai : Over the years, Zee Tamizh has offered its viewers, a plethora of entertaining shows and enthralling experiences. The channel is now geared up to launch its new Celebrity game show “Genes”.
The show is a first of its kind Game show concept where popular celebrities connect the families of real people by identifying their genetic similarities.
The uniqueness of the game show lies in its format which has four interesting rounds such as Same to Same, Celebrity round, Family Tree and Jackpot round. All this rounds deals with the task of identifying the genetic resemblance as its key factor.
All the four rounds are extremely entertaining and are packed with fun, excitement, curiosity and Tension to keep the contestants and viewers on their toes making them perform to their best and take home the cash prize.
Every episode of Genes will have a celebrity participating and playing the task of decoding the jeans in each round. The Celebrity will be handed over a cash advance and he will be having the option to earn more, if he manage to decode the correct resemblances in each round, failing which will result in losing the cash in hand.
The first episode of Genes will have the celebrity duo Director Venkat Prabhu and his brother Premji, both are likely to tickle the funny bones of the viewers with their witty act blended with the excitement of the game.
Genes on Zee Tamizh commences from April 19th and scheduled for telecast on every Sunday at 8pm.
The format of the game show has already received very good response in Telugu version, which is being aired on Eenadu TV.
