Mumbai : Sony Entertainment Television is set to Premier the Hindi Movie PK on 21st June 2015. Sony has acquired the satellite rights of PK for a record price of Rs 85 Crore.

PK was one of the biggest hit and highest grossing film of 2014 with its worldwide collections crossing 700 Crores. PK is a satirical science fiction comedy film that depicted Actor Amir Khan as an Alien.
PK Movie Starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, Sanjay Dutt etc in lead roles was released during December 2014. PK was Written by Abhijat Joshi and Dircted by Rajkumar Hirani. This movie is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani.
The story of PK Movie revolves around an alien who comes to Earth on a research mission. Aamir Khan is playing the role of that humanoid alien. He befriends a television journalist and questions religious dogmas and superstitions.
Anushka Sharma played the character of a female journalists Jagat Janani Sahni. The movie was also surrounded with controversies triggered due to insult on religious sentiments.
