Singapore : A+E Networks has upped Pooja Nirmal Kant to director of international content sales for Asia.
Based in Singapore, Kant will report to Glen Hansen, the VP of international content sales for the Asia Pacific. The executive will oversee content distribution across Southeast Asia, with a focus on driving sales for A+E Networks’ growing scripted catalogue throughout the region. She will also continue to manage and grow A+E Networks’ client base and relationships in the marketplace.
Kant joined the company in 2013 as senior manager of international content sales for Asia. Before that, she served as assistant manager in the sales development division at The Walt Disney Company in Southeast Asia.
“Pooja has been exemplary in contributing to year-on-year growth via existing relationships and partnerships throughout Asia, while successfully breaking into new markets and developing opportunities throughout the region,” said Hansen. “We are thrilled to recognize her contribution through this promotion.”
