The Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections 2022 was held in two phases on December 1 and December 5 to elect 182 members. Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh was held in a single phase on November 12, 2022, to elect 68 members.
The votes were counted for both, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh on December 8, 2022.

According to the BARC data on the counting day, 8th Dec’22 in HSM 15+ 0800-1200 hrs time band Aaj Tak claimed the No. 1 position.
The data showed Aaj Tak lead with 334.1 (000) AMA followed by India TV with 328.7 (000) AMA at second position and News18 India at third position with 305 (000) AMA. TV9 Bharatvarsh stood at fourth position with 258.8 (000) AMA followed by ABP News with 226.7 (000) AMA at fifth position.
