Chennai : The prestigious Distinguished Service Award 2016 of Advertising Club Madras was awarded to Srinivasan K Swamy, Chairman & Managing Director, R K Swamy BBDO Advertising Pvt. Ltd. for his excellence and leadership in the service he rendered to the Indian advertising Industry.
Mr. Murali, Co chairman of The Hindu, who was also an earlier recipient of this award, presented the award to Mr Srinivasan K Swamy. The award ceremony was organised by Advertising Club Madras on , Thursday 3rd March 2016 at Hotel Taj Club house at Chennai and the event saw the participation of veterans of the Advertising industry.
Mr Jagannath, Past President of the Ad Club Madras called the attention of the audience followed by the President Mr K R Skandaraaj delivered the Welcome Speech. Mr R V Rajan, Past President of Ad Club & Rural Mktg. Assn. gave the introductory remarks of the recipient Mr S.K.Swamy, followed by an AV presentation of the man of the day.

Mr DK Srinivasan of The Hindu Mission Hospital claims that Mr.Swamy is the person behind making this Hospital a reputed one by his idea of drafting letter to the donors .

Finally, Mr. Srinivasan K Swamy delivered the acceptance speech and thanked Advertising Club Madras in conferring this prestigious Award on him and also claimed that though he has received number of awards, this will be a special one since his leadership started from this club
