Ajith Kumar Fans Create 15-ft Milk Bikis Garland to Celebrate Film Release in Chennai

Mumbai: In a heartwarming blend of nostalgia, fandom, and purpose, Britannia Milk Bikis, one of Tamil Nadu’s most cherished biscuit brands, became the centerpiece of a unique tribute during the release celebration of Good Bad Ugly, starring Tamil cinema icon Ajith Kumar.

In an unprecedented gesture by Ajith Kumar’s fan club, a 15-foot garland made entirely of Britannia Milk Bikis was draped around a towering cutout of the actor at the iconic Kasi Theatre in Chennai. This modern twist on the traditional Paal Abhishekam (milk-pouring ritual) not only celebrated the star but also symbolized Milk Bikis’ cultural legacy and emotional connect with generations of Tamil households.

The activation further underscored a meaningful cause — all Milk Bikis packets used in the garland were later donated to local NGOs, Karunaii Trust and Dorcas Shelter for Women with Disability, extending the spirit of celebration to those in need.

“Milk Bikis is more than just a biscuit in Tamil Nadu — it’s a memory, a ritual, and now, a symbol of celebration,” said Siddharth Gupta, General Manager – Marketing, Britannia. “To see it embraced so warmly by Ajith Kumar’s fan community at such a landmark occasion is a testament to the strong place the brand holds in the hearts of consumers.”

MullenLowe Lintas Group, Britannia’s creative partner for over five decades, has played an instrumental role in crafting culturally resonant stories for Milk Bikis and building its timeless identity.

As Britannia Milk Bikis continues its journey in Tamil Nadu, the brand remains focused on celebrating shared memories, meaningful gestures, and community-first storytelling, reinforcing its position not just as a snack — but as a symbol of everyday celebration.
