Mumbai: Amit Adarkar has joined i-Genie.ai as CEO, India, marking a significant leadership addition as the AI-driven insights platform accelerates its global growth ambitions. Adarkar most recently served as CEO, India at Ipsos, where he had been associated with the organisation since 2014.
In his new role, Adarkar will be responsible for driving i-Genie.ai’s expansion across India, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. The company is focused on transforming the insights landscape through AI models capable of processing large volumes of unstructured consumer data in real time, enabling brands to operate with continuous and production-grade intelligence as part of the emerging agentic AI era.

Prior to his tenure at Ipsos, Adarkar held leadership roles across several research and insights organisations including MarketGate Dimensions Research, Nielsen BASES, Market Probe India, Synovate India, ACNielsen, United Distillers & Vintners, MARG and IMRB, where he began his career as a researcher in 1993.
With more than three decades of industry experience, Adarkar brings expertise across analytical strategy, marketing strategy, business planning, statistical modelling, customer insight and segmentation strategy, along with capabilities in data analytics and emerging technologies such as Python-driven modelling and AI-enabled insights.
