Mumbai: Amol Parashar has invested in premium spirits brand Nisaki Gin, coming on board as a strategic investor as the company looks to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-evolving premium gin segment.
The move marks a shift in Parashar’s brand engagement strategy, transitioning from traditional endorsement roles to deeper participation as a stakeholder. Known for his work across film, OTT and theatre, Parashar has built a strong connect with younger audiences through projects such as Tripling and Sardar Udham, along with his recent single-man stage show tour across the country. A graduate of IIT Delhi, he brings a blend of creative and analytical thinking to the ventures he supports.
Nisaki Gin is differentiated by its distinctive colour-changing property, which shifts hues when paired with mixers such as tonic or citrus. The visual transformation adds a theatrical element to the drinking experience, positioning the brand uniquely within the premium spirits category.
Speaking about the investment, Amol Parashar said, “Transformation has always been central to my journey as an actor. What drew me to Nisaki was the way it captures that spirit through its evolving hues and layered character. I believe India’s premium spirits space is at an interesting inflection point, and I see this as a long-term journey rooted in culture, quality, and conviction.”
The association reflects a shared philosophy. Built around the proposition “Love Every Hue,” Nisaki Gin celebrates nuance and layered experiences, reinforcing the idea that identity and taste are constantly evolving rather than singular. Parashar’s backing aligns with the brand’s emphasis on transformation as both a product feature and a broader narrative.
Positioned within India’s premium spirits space, Nisaki targets consumers drawn to modern luxury and experience-led brands. Its colour transformation feature aims to create a distinctive visual moment in every pour, tapping into growing demand for experiential drinking.
India’s premium gin category has witnessed rising interest in recent years, driven by shifting consumer preferences and the emergence of homegrown brands catering to premiumisation trends.
Speaking about the association, Sanchit Agarwal, Founder of Nisaki Gin, said, “Amol represents versatility and a strong connect with young audiences, which aligns well with how Nisaki is building its brand. His involvement brings not just capital, but a perspective that is valuable as we look to grow the brand across key markets.”
