Bengaluru: Electric mobility startup River has appointed Ananya Agrawal as its new Head of Marketing. Agrawal brings with him over a decade of experience across automotive, consumer goods, and digital-first businesses, having worked with leading brands across both agency and client ecosystems.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Agrawal said: “Excited to share that I’ve joined River as Head of Marketing. Flow, folks, and freedom aren’t just what we stand for — they’re the current shaping how we build, move, and connect. Grateful to be part of this journey where purpose meets design.”
Prior to joining River, Agrawal served as the Global Head – Digital Marketing & Media (Premium Business) at TVS Motor Company since December 2022. Before his stint at TVS, he was associated with AB InBev India as Head of Media and Martech, and spent over five years with Royal Enfield, where he held multiple roles, culminating in his position as Global Marketing Manager. At Royal Enfield, he led global paid marketing strategies, integrated planning, and drove media and martech initiatives.
Agrawal’s earlier experience also includes roles at agencies such as Reprise Media, Mudra Communications, and Mogae Digital, where he built a foundation in digital media, strategy, and creative thinking.
With a career spanning across product development, branding, digital marketing, and customer experience, Agrawal is known for driving digital transformation, enhancing marketing efficiency, and building integrated campaigns aligned with business goals. His appointment at River is expected to strengthen the company’s brand narrative and marketing capabilities as it continues to scale in the competitive EV space.
River, known for its flagship e-scooter Indie, has positioned itself as a design-forward, purpose-driven brand. Agrawal’s arrival aligns with the company’s ambition to drive deeper engagement and innovation at the intersection of mobility, design, and technology.
