Mumbai-ANJ Group, one of India’s leading design and build firms, has announced the appointment of Dr Ashfaq Ul Ahad as its Chief People Officer (CPO). At ANJ, Dr Ul Ahad will be entrusted with steering the company’s People & Culture agenda, with a focus on leadership development, employee engagement, organizational transformation, and cultivating a creativity-driven workplace.
Bringing over 25 years of cross-industry experience, Dr Ul Ahad has led HR and people transformation efforts across the hospitality, banking, telecom, technology, logistics, and education sectors. His career includes leadership roles at ICICI Bank, GE, Hutchison, and Syntel, along with a critical role at Delhivery, where he led capability development for a 75,000-strong workforce.
Beyond the corporate realm, Dr Ul Ahad is also a co-founder of Talent Edge Academy and CollegeDekho Academy, both of which are committed to bridging the education-employment gap for young professionals through outcome-oriented learning platforms.
