Hyderabad: Ankura Hospitals, a healthcare chain specialising in women and children’s care, has appointed Rahul Datta as its Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its leadership team amid rapid expansion across markets.
A healthcare veteran with nearly two decades of experience, Datta was previously serving as Senior Vice President – Operations at Ankura Hospitals. In his expanded role, he will oversee the organisation’s operational roadmap, driving scalable growth while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, operational efficiency and patient experience.
Known for his collaborative and data-driven leadership style, Datta brings deep expertise across hospital operations, marketing, infrastructure development and health insurance. His approach focuses on bridging clinical outcomes with operational rigor, supported by digital transformation, standardised processes and empowered teams.
During his tenure at Ankura, Datta has played a pivotal role in leading hospital expansions, optimising workflows, implementing advanced hospital information systems and driving network-wide standardisation to ensure consistent, high-quality care across locations.
