MUMBAI: Apurva Jain has been named oneplus India Head – Sales Strategy and Business planning.
He made the announcement on Linkedin. “My mission is to drive business growth and customer satisfaction for OnePlus India, while contributing to its vision of inspiring the world with innovative technology.”
He was with Samsung for over 11 years.
He has over 18 years of experience in channel sales, distribution, business planning, and retail marketing. He says that he has a proven track record of delivering revenue growth, enhancing market share, and strengthening brand management for OnePlus SP and IOt products
“I have successfully conceptualised and executed SP and IOT NPI, innovative channel management and Trade incentive programmes, customer experience initiatives, leveraging my expertise in sales forecasting, and resource allocation. I have also built and maintained strong relationships with agencies, channel partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment of sales and marketing objectives and effective utilisation of budgets.”
In his farewell post after leaving Samsung he wrote, “It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to something that has been such a big part of your life. After 11.5 amazing years, my journey with Samsung India has come to a close.
“This isn’t just a farewell to a company — it’s a goodbye to a place that shaped me, challenged me and helped me grow both professionally and personally. From day one, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring mentors, supportive colleagues, and passionate teams. Together, we faced challenges, celebrated wins, and created memories that I’ll carry with me forever.
“The journey has been nothing short of transformative — filled with continuous learning, career milestones, and friendships that go beyond the workplace. Collaborating across teams and partnering with incredible people taught me lessons that no book ever could.
“As I now step into a new chapter filled with fresh challenges and opportunities, I leave with a heart full of gratitude.”
