Mumbai: Aqualogica, the Gen Z-focused skincare brand from Honasa Consumer’s portfolio, has announced the appointment of popular Gen Z influencer Apoorva Mukhija, widely known as Rebel Kid, as the brand ambassador for its sunscreen category. The announcement is accompanied by the launch of a new brand film spotlighting ultra-light, everyday sun protection.

The campaign film features Apoorva Mukhija in a playful exchange with actor Sheeba Chaddha, set against a poolside backdrop. The narrative highlights the lightweight texture of Aqualogica’s Glow+ Dewy Gel Sunscreen while underscoring its efficacy, powered by new-age UV filters that offer up to 12 hours of photostable protection. Through humour and relatability, the film draws a parallel between Gen Z’s easygoing persona and the product’s light-yet-effective formulation.

Speaking about the collaboration, Apoorva Mukhija (Rebel Kid) said, “I’m really excited to come on board as the sunscreen ambassador for Aqualogica. With how much we’re constantly outdoors- travelling, shooting, or just on the go, sun protection has become something I take seriously. What I love about Aqualogica is how lightweight and hydrating the sunscreens feel, so it never feels like a heavy step in your routine. I’m glad to be part of a brand that’s making sun care simple and something people can genuinely use every day.”
