Mumbai: Arohan Financial Services Limited, a NBFC–Microfinance Institution (NBFC-MFI), has announced the re-joining of Arvind Murarka as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Murarka will head the organisation’s IT function and lead its technology and digital transformation agenda.
Murarka brings over 25 years of leadership experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation, technology modernisation, and enabling business growth across financial services and allied industries. A seasoned CXO-level technology leader, he is recognised for aligning IT strategy with business objectives while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
During his earlier tenure at Arohan Financial Services Limited, Murarka played a key role in driving the company’s end-to-end digital transformation initiatives. His contributions included the establishment of IT governance frameworks aligned with RBI standards, implementation of core technology systems, strengthening of cybersecurity and risk management frameworks, and the rollout of automation initiatives that delivered significant efficiency gains and cost optimisation.
Prior to re-joining Arohan, Murarka served as Chief Information Officer at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, where he led enterprise-wide IT transformation for the listed microfinance NBFC.
