Trivandrum: Asianet Television Awards 2019 were distributed in a glittering function held recently at Al-Saj Convention Centre ,Thiruvananthapuram. Several prominent persons from the film industry and socio-cultural spheres were present on the occasion.
The event was attended by a cross section of stars from South Indian film/television industry and had colourful programmes performed by leading Malayalam artistes along with a mix of stars from tollywood…Dilip,Innocent , Aju Varghese, Nadirsha, Lakshmi Gopalaswami , Shankar Ramakrishnan, Meghna Raj , Prem Kumar , Sudheer Karamana , Chandra Lakshman , Vijay Babu, Tini Tom , Sabu Mon, Aristo Suresh are some of the leading personalities from the tinsel world attended the glittering function.
‘Vanambadi ” won the award for the best serial and Adithyan won award for the best director for the serial ‘ Vanambadi”.. Sriram won the best actor award for his role in ‘Kasthooriman” and Suchithra for the best female actress for the serial ‘ Vanambadi.’ Actor Sai Kiran and Actress Rebecca was on hand to collect the popular awards for their performance in serials“ Vanambadi & Kasthooriman” respectively.
Others who won awards include Pradeep Kavunthara ( script writer ), M R Gopakumar & Seema G Nair ( Character actor / actress ), Roopa Sree ( Negative role ) , Anoop- Dhanya Marry ( Star Pair ), Priya Menon ( humorous role ) , Nithin Joseph &Snisha ( Newface ) , Shobi Thilakan & Devi( Dubbing artiste ) , Ajayan ( Editor ) , Aneesh ( Audio grapher ) , Anurag Guna ( Cinematography ) ,Sana& Gauri ( Child artiste ) , Jayakumar ( Popular Serial – Neelakuyil).

Asianet is all set to telecast “Asianet Television Awards 2019“in two parts viz: 31st Aug and 1st Sept,2019 ( Sat & Sun) from 7.00PM onwards.
