Kochi: Malayalam GEC Asianet is all set to celebrate the Onam with a varied range of special programmes like Mega shows, celebrity interviews, movie release/ premiers, game shows, comedy programmes, telefilms, cookery programmes and lot more have been lined up by Asianet.
A visual treat awaits Malayalam telly audience for this Onam as complete actor Mohanlal’s Onam special event titled as ‘Lal onam, Nall onam’ is a mix of many entertainment programs. Along with Mohanlal, many musicians, comedians, actors, singers and mentalists will be joining this Onam special.
One of the main attractions of the three-hour-long program is the period complete drama, ‘Lankalakshmi’. In the drama, Mohanlal will be seen portraying the mythological characters, Ravana, Kumbakarna and Vibheeshana. The show will also have an Anthakshari segment, which will have singers Sithara Krishnakumar, Sachin Warrier, Najim Arshad, Reshma, Neha Venugopal and Nishad. Interestingly, singer-recent internet sensation Arya Dayal, who gained appreciation from Amitabh Bachchan, will also join the segment.
Dance fusion with Honey Rose, Anusree, Rachana Narayanankutty, Nikhila Vimal, Prayaga Martin and Durga Krishnan. Adding to the fun, the show will have comedy skits, celebrity interactions, mentalism show and Onam special games.
The bouquet of Onam movies also has the premiere of Tovino Thomas’s ‘Kilometers & Kilomers’. Then comes one of the all-time biggest blockbusters, Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollayadithal, Jayasoorya’s Syfiyun Jnanum, Kappela, Petromax, Forensic, Trance, Geetha Govindam, Penguin etc.
