BARC Week 12: PTC Punjabi claims the top spot in Punjabi speaking market

In Week 12 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, Star Utsav bagged the top spot in the across genre category with 2738.73 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak took a steep leap from 5th spot to 2nd spot with 2487.3 (000) AMA as compared to week 11. Star Maa dropped from 1st spot to 3rd spot with 2447.26 (000) AMA followed by Sun TV from 2nd spot to 4th spot with 2373.33 (000) AMA and Star Plus from 3rd spot to 5th spot with 2179.56 (000) AMA. Sony Sab retained its 6th spot with 1623.77 (000) AMA. Colors Rishtey was the new entrant in the top 10 charts with 1595.22 (000) AMA and claimed the 7th spot. Star Vijay retained its 8th spot with 1592.49 (000) AMA. Colors was another new entrant with 1507.96 (000) AMA and stood at the 9th spot. Star Pravah slipped one spot down and stood at the 10th spot with 1492.23 (000) AMA.

Hindi Speaking Market

In the Hindi Speaking Market, Star Utsav retained its top spot with 2732.19 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak moved one spot up and claimed the 2nd spot with 2460.46 (000) AMA. Star Plus slipped to 3rd spot with 2110.09 (000) AMA. Sony Sab retained its 4th spot with 1590.15 (000) AMA. Colors Rishtey was the new entrant in the top 5 charts with 1588.59 (000) AMA and claimed the 5th spot.

Punjabi (Punjab/Chandigarh)

Among the Punjabi Speaking Market, PTC Punjabi stood at the top spot with 214.12 (000) AMA. Zee Punjabi retained the 2nd spot with 180.99 (000) AMA. Colors that were at the 5th spot last week claimed the 3rd spot with 130.1 (000) AMA. Star Utsav retained the 4th spot with 128.25 (000) AMA. Star Plus with 126.08 (000) AMA stood at the 5th spot.

Marathi (Maharashtra/Goa)

In the Marathi Speaking Market, Star Pravah claimed the top spot with 1445.64 (000) AMA. Zee Marathi retained the 2nd spot with 546.65 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak made an entry to the list 458.39 (000) AMA claiming the 3rd spot. Sony Sab which was at the 3rd spot last week climbed one spot down and stood at the 4th spot with 442.04 (000) AMA. Colors Marathi which was at the 4th spot last week claimed the 5th spot with 405.62 (000) AMA.
