BARC Week 12: Sprite takes a leap from 5th spot to 2nd spot in the Top Brands Category

In the Week 12 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. maintained its top spot with rise in Ad Volumes from 4322.09 (‘000 secs) to 4757.44 (‘000 secs) followed by Reckitt Benckiser Group dropping from 3484.64 (‘000 secs) to 2921.74 (‘000 secs) at the 2nd spot and Coca Cola India Ltd. dropping from 1614.62 (‘000 secs) to 1329.22 (‘000 secs) at the 3rd spot. Pepsi Foods (G) retained its 4th spot with rise in Ad Volumes from 883.66 (‘000 secs) to 1156.68 (‘000 secs). Cadburys India Ltd. shifted one spot up and stood at the 5th position with Ad Volumes dropping from 776.8 (‘000 secs) to 760.01 (‘000 secs) followed by Godrej Group shifting from 7th spot to 6th spot with 706.34 (‘000 secs). Procter & Gamble dropped from 5th spot to 7th spot with ad volumes too dropping from 806.47 (‘000 secs) to 674.01 (‘000 secs). ITC Ltd. retained its 8th spot with 582.39 (‘000 secs). GCMMF (Guj Coop Milk Mkt Fed) shifted one spot up and stood at the 9th spot with 528.94 (‘000 secs). Glaxosmithkline Group was the new entrant in the top 10 chart with 479.66 (‘000 secs) and claimed the 10th spot.

Top Brands

In the top brands category, Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean regained its top spot with Ad Volumes dropping from 532.71 (‘000 secs) to 384.23 (‘000 secs). Sprite took a  leap from 5th spot to 2nd spot with ad volumes dropping from 372.6 (‘000 secs) to 368.97 (‘000 secs). Lizol all in 1 dropped two spots down and stood at the 3rd position with ad volumes dropping from 624.99 (‘000 secs) to 343.64 (‘000 secs). Maaza slipped one spot down to 4th spot with drop in volumes from 416.64 (‘000 secs) to 324.17 (‘000 secs) followed by Mortein Insta at the 5th spot with drop in volumes from 409.33 (‘000 secs) to 313.86 (‘000 secs). Lux Cozi with 269.57 (‘000 secs) at the 6th spot and Vanish Oxi Action with 268.61 (‘000 secs) at the 7th spot were the two new entrants in the top 10 chart. Ultratech Cement shifted one spot up and stood at the 8th position with 265.46 (‘000 secs). Jio Phone Next with 261.96 (‘000 secs) at the 9th spot and Glow & Lovely Advanced Multivitamin with 249.48 (‘000 secs) at the 10th spot were other two new entrants.
